Carnegie Hall news. All is going well in NYNY. The Students are tired but well behaved. The Eric Whitacre concert at Carnegie Hall is officially sold out 2,800 seats. Some of the high school and adult choirs performing in the concert are from Massachusetts, Texas, Utah, California, Verona, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Additionally their are 75 performers from all over the world that auditioned as individuals rather than choirs.

The GD students are very excited to be working with the number one classical composer of our times (Eric Whitacre). They also get a kick out of seeing our name on billboards and in magazines throughout the city. Memorizing nine advanced level song in nine weeks was a challenge, however these students are representing GD well.
