Welcome to the Office of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning. Our office supports our educators and para-educators as they design and deliver a highly-engaging curriculum and instruction that meets the needs of proficient and accelerated learners while also working to close the achievement gap.

This year our district continues to implement Universal design for learning (UDL) and focus on the importance of a growth mindset. Universal design for learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. Growth Mindset is the belief that effort, and not innate ability, results in positive learning outcomes.

Students who have growth mindset respond to instruction with more positive, effort-based strategies to work harder and spend more time on the task instead of giving up. Learn more about UDL and growth mindset today.
